circa early 1700's
Used for general storage, perhaps for small tools, spools
of thread and the like, they were often used to hold a supply of candles and
have them close at hand when a candle went out. Shown in colonial blue, this box measures approximately
9" high by 11.5" wide x 5 inches deep.
